Do you need a licence for Lizards?
Most Lizards do require a Wildlife Licence, and the lizards commonly available that DO NOT require a Wildlife Licence are Marbled Geckos, Cunningham Skinks and Blue Tongue Lizards. If you want to get a licence for a lizard, please click the link below as long as the bird is in the same condition.
Do you need a licence for a snake?
Yes all snakes and pythons require a licence. If you want to get a licence for a snake please click the link below.
Once I have my licence, to buy a reptile do i need a transport container?
The best way to transport a lizard or snake home from our store is in a pillow case. Please bring one in when you pick up your new pet reptile.
Do you sell live animals online?
Reptile Life is against this practice as reptiles require many different accessories, including UV Light and health supplements and advice on animal farming. Animals shipped online can’t be guaranteed to get all the correct requirements to keep them healthy. In-store shopping provides the customer ‘Human Reptile’ interaction.
Can I order different items which are not stocked in your store?
In most cases yes. We have accounts with many wholesalers so different branded items are available on a pre-paid basis. Please ask in store.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes we have a company van that can deliver all bulky items. Delivery fee depends on your suburb and whether you need a second person to help carry the items. Please ask in store.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, eftpos, standard credit cards (No diners or American Express) and also PayPal. Direct Deposit for remote payments.
What do I do if I have a warranty issue with a product?
First of all, we need a copy of the original purchase receipt that the product wholesaler requires. After checking whether the item is faulty, we will replace the item with the same or an equivalent product in-store on the day. It is a significant benefit of buying from a ‘real’ store rather than an online store.
