Who are we?

Petco Holdings is a family-owned business and has been involved in the pet industry for over 30 years. Our business includes Waterlife Aquarium, Victorian Bird Company, and Reptile Life. We are proud of our exclusive brands of quality products and services with a passion for the livestock we sell.

Our brands are fast becoming a standard in our industry, and our growth is allowing the opportunity for this newly appointed position. Our team is vibrant, dedicated, customer-focused individuals who are enthusiastic about helping our customers.

You will be working as part of a dedicated and passionate team that knows how to enjoy what they do and get the results. You’ll receive ongoing coaching and support while learning about all aspects of our business.

Our number one priority is customer service and satisfaction. We want to create a positive experience every time a customer walks in the door, and that starts with the staff excelling in a few key areas.

These include:

  • Being friendly and engaging with customers.
  • Asking customers the right questions to ensure they go home with perfectly suited reptiles and products and making sure the customers have the correct information for their situation.
  • Education – knowledge of the products allows the staff to ask the right questions and provide correct information. Additionally, we have the confidence to say, “I don’t know, but let me find out for you,” because we are always looking to learn and grow.

Some other aspects where we ensure customer satisfaction include our health guarantees and our relationships with reputable breeders.

Finally, our in-house systems communicate many aspects of our business, including policies, stock management, cleaning, and more, which streamlines the operation of our store, leaving more time to get to know customers and leave them satisfied with their shopping experience.
