How Buying a Snake Works
Buying a snake is not always as simple as choosing one and taking it home on the same day. In many cases, you may need to organise your wildlife licence first.
Here is the general process:

Visit Reptile Life and speak with the team about current snake availability, species suitability and setup needs. - Check licence requirements
Before purchase, make sure you understand what wildlife licence is required for your state and chosen species. - Secure your snake with a deposit
If available, you may be able to leave a deposit to hold your chosen snake while your licence is being processed. - Prepare the enclosure
While waiting for licence approval, use the time to set up the enclosure, heating, hides, water bowl and other essentials. - Return with your licence details
Once your licence is approved, bring the details back to the store so the team can complete the process. - Take your snake home prepared
Once everything is confirmed, you can finalise the purchase and bring your snake home with a better setup already planned.
